With years of hands-on experience across residential construction, Chris has been building since 2018, working on everything from new architecturally designed homes to renovations, extensions, and custom timber work.

In 2024, he and his wife launched Leatherwood — a small, values-driven building business based in Kettering, lutruwita/Tasmania servicing nipaluna/Hobart and surrounds.

Chris brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project, with a strong eye for detail, a love of natural materials, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. His calm, honest nature and clear communication have earned him the trust of homeowners and collaborators alike.

When he’s not building, you’ll likely find Chris surfing, fishing, bush walking, or running with his two border collies in tow.
